EMCOM USA
National Emergency Alert Notification System

Community based Emergency Preparedness, Notification and Communication
Including the World's most technologically advanced and effective National Emergency Alert System

Welcome to the EMCOM (International Emergency Preparedness, Notification and Communications Organization) Community Emergency Preparedness & Alert Notification website. This site comprises web pages for virtuall every county and municipality in the United States. Enter by choosing your state below, or the "My Home Town" button on the left.

  • Participating emergency management personnel from cities, towns, counties and states can quickly post information and bulletins pertinent to their area directly onto their applicable pages, with alerts also being sent to public and private agencies and organizations via All-Hazard WeatherAlert 2000 class radios, and to their citizens via email, cell phone, pagers, and personal contact via telephone or personal visit by our neighborhood based coordinators.

  • Each of the state, county and municipality pages is PubAlert activated, such that any emergency or disaster notifications in effect for the region will immediately "pop up" on user's computers when the pages are accessed. This includes ALL notifications from the EMCOM National Emergency Alert Notifiation System, such as weather from the National Weather Service, breaking news from major media outlets, alerts from the FBI, the CDC and state and local authorities as applicable.

These are the same alerts as are received through the other EMCOM notification channels, including satellite based weather alert radios, email, cell phones, pagers, telephones and personal notifications.

  • Each of the county and municipality web sites is LiveAlert activated, such that participating emergency agencies and organizations can broadcast LIVE directly through the web page. If your computer system is equipped with a sound card and speakers, you will hear any broadcast by a participating agency in the applicable area simply by having the web page displayed on your computer.

To access the pages for your area, use the index below, or click on the My Home Town button on the left. For more information pertaining to the EMCOM organization see...
